With tobacco prices rising in Malaysia, perhaps it really is time to rid yourself of that habit you have been meaning to do so for so long! Here are a few natural ingredients which should help aid your process in being a smooth one.

Lobelia is a herb which contains the chemical lobeline which acts in a similar way to nicotine. Though it is less potent you can trick your body into thinking it is in fact nicotine and in turn sedate cigarette cravings. Lobelia can be turned into tea though it does not taste great, it is typically smoked in a pipe or rolled.

Ginger root is also beneficial when quitting smoking as it is a well known aid for nausea. Nausea is a side effect of the withdrawal of nicotine and cigarettes. Rhidola extract can also help with counteracting cigarette cravings as it works with your dopamine receptors.

Dopamine is the chemical in your brain that is associated with mood, if you have too little you will feel depressed and anxious. Increasing the activity in our dopamine receptors can make you feel happier and more energetic and therefore less in need of a cigarette.
