For the launch of the showroom, My Apparel Zoo has released a few of their first ready to wear collection specializing in dresses made from eye-catching African Angolan fabric, designed by Ellie E.
Working with a small team of tailors, Ellie E’s Angolan printed dresses are cut in simple silhouettes to let the prints take center stage. In addition to her ready to wear collection, Ellie E also does custom-made Angolan dresses that tailor fits the design and preferences of her clients.
Ellie E, the Creative Director and Fashion Buyer of My Apparel Zoo states, “To me, it’s not about pleasing other people with what you wear. As they say, the prettiest girls are the happiest girls, and I feel the same way about fashion. I wear what makes me happy, drawing inspiration from the golden age of fashion from the 50s and 60s.”
