You’re probably sick of hearing all this news about Miley Cyrus, but wait guys – Miley Mania is not over. Yet.
Jaws dropped during her 2013 MTV VMA performance with Robin Thicke, faces were straight when she appeared nude on her video Wrecking Ball
, but now she’ll tell you just what she’s capable of in her latest video – 23.
The video features her pal and collaborator Mike WiLL Made It, and of course – a scantily clad Miley, writing away, smoking and rapping. The video for 23 is another step-up for Miley, who is doing a fairly good job as stripping down her good-girl Disney image. She twerks (of course), she bends over, does that thing with her tongue, spreads her legs, and for the first time – uses profane words – all in her skimpy red outfit and red spiky heels. [¹]
Though the video was labeled as risque by YouTube, we reckon the pop star is on the road to becoming a star who’ll implement controversy in her art, not her personal life. She got rid of Liam Hemsworth – who already has a new squeeze , by the way – but let’s put her provocative image aside and embrace the fact that this girl knows what she’s doing and she’s not about to crack!
23 also features the talent of rappers Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa.
On another note, Miley also appears topless on the cover of Rolling Stone’s October issue. In the issue, she lays it all out about the slut-shaming comments she received over her VMA dance with Robin Thicke. “No one is talking about the man behind the ass. It was a lot of ‘Miley twerks on Robin Thicke,’ but never, ‘Robin Thicke grinds up on Miley.’They’re only talking about the one that bent over. So obviously there’s a double standard.” [²]
