For Fall 2015, Michael Kors’ stellar collection highlights opulent restraint and glamorous simplicity, translated to many masculine pieces contrasted against sensual allure for day or night.
The collection clearly showcases Kors’ lavish and relaxed creative direction, with hip-hugging trumpet skirts, boxy trench coats, laid-back two-piece pajamas and lush exuberant dresses.
These statement-worthy clothes are featured mostly in structured melton wool, lightweight tweeds and foulard, and are adorned with military accents, patched fox fur, bird feathers, feminine ruffles, gun-check prints and paisley, as well as glimmering hand-sewn beads and crystals.
One of our favourite pieces include the crystal-encrusted satin pajamas, which is a sleek, modern take on evening wear, guaranteed to be in the spotlight. The whole collection is compellingly made and it is straightforward, although it would take a whole lot of confidence to dress in them.
