A Metrobus conductor, Chan Ceng Ban was killed after he filled from the overcrowded bus and was run-over by a vehicle.
The 55-year-old man was standing in the doorway of the overcrowded bus before he lost his balance and landed under the bus. Chan died on the spot due to severe head injuries.
The accident took place about 7am at the Jalan Amping – Jalan Tun Razak junction in Kuala Lumpur, as the Metrobus was traveling to the city centre from Pandan Mewah.
