Melissa recently commemorated its latest shoe collaboration with unparalleled visionary designer Jeremy Scott with an exciting party at Zouk KL, showcasing the Melissa + Jeremy Scott and Fall/Winter 2016 ‘Dance Machine’s’ collection. With a splash of colour, pool floaties and balloons, the evening saw Barbie-like models strut down a pop art inspired runway.
On top of the audacious Melissa Inflatable Mule + Jeremy Scott, the collection features an ankle boot, two styles of flats, a sandal and a Mini Melissa style, all embellished with one show-stopping novelty element – a nozzle to ‘inflate’ the shoes, similar to the ones on pool floaties.
Scott’s unmatched flair for fusing humour and pop culture with fashion prominently encompasses the sassy collection and the statement-worthy headliner, the Melissa Inflatable Mule + Jeremy Scott, is designed to look like a modern Wellington boot with an ankle high shaft and kitten heel, adorned with striking colours and Melissa’s trademark bubblegum scent.
The Melissa + Jeremy Scott Collection is priced from RM299 to RM779. All the styles from the collection will be available at MDreams stores (Pavilion KL or 1 Utama) and online from mid-August 2016.
