In early September, the renowned jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. appointed their new Design Director and she will be oversee the designs for all Tiffany’s product categories.
As her new role as Tiffany’s Design Director, Francesca Amfitheatrof introduces Tiffany T. A collection that was inspired by New York’s power, energy and daring persona. “I wanted to create a symbol for modern life and its relentless energy that flows through New York and drives art and culture around the world,” said Amfitheatrof. “This is just the beginning of what I hope to accomplish.”
Amfitheatrof is a trained jeweler and silversmith. She found her style in sketches that are inspired by the fresh perspective that all explorers look for and the sheer class of Tiffany design. Her work also had elements of the American design, which is always bold. Her strokes of genius are as magical in precious metal as they are on paper.
