The first trailer for the much anticipated movie Silence which stars Andrew Garfield is out, and its looking pretty intense even at the first glimpse. The movie Silence is directed by the acclaimed director Martin Scorsese, who has directed other renowned films such as The Goodfellas and The Wolf of Wall Street.
In the movie, Garfield plays the role of a Jesuit Missionary in 17th century Japan who risks his life to save his spiritual mentor who’s played by Liam Neeson.
News has been going around that Andrew Garfield had gone to great extents to totally immerse himself in the role to execute the character perfectly, so much so that it caused dispute between him and his ex-girlfriend Emma Stone.
Several sources quoted Emma saying that Andrew had been in a dark place for months in order to get into the character and he wasn’t being the best partner, resulting in the two breaking up.
Silence is expected to hit the theatres early 2017!
