A Malindo Air flight bound for Kuala Terengganu had to make a turn back to the Subang Airport soon after a take-off on Wednesday morning after one of its engine caught fire.
A Malindo Air spokesman said: “The aircraft took off at 7.35am, the incident occurred soon after.
“The pilot had taken immediate action by switching off the affected engine, before safely landing at Subang airport.”
It is learnt that among the passengers onboard were players of the Terengganu football team.
