After two years of being cooped up in our houses, we’re eager to enjoy our well-deserved holiday overseas, now that travel restrictions have been lifted. However, two years of no travel means that our passports have expired – and there’s nothing worse than the prospect of having to renew our passports. We groan not only at the sight of the long queues, but also at our passport photo, which will remain there for years.
ID photos can be quite awkward and humiliating to look at. Although some people don’t seem to care what their pictures look like, others want to appear their best in front of the camera – only to have it all flop. But your days of moping over your passport photoshoot are over!
A viral makeup trend has emerged – on TikTok, of course – which began when one beauty creator demonstrated how to achieve the ultimate passport photo makeup look, which included full-on glam (because, why not?). After her TikTok video exploded, many in the comment section begged Georgia Barratt to show how she did her viral passport makeup look.
When taking a passport photo, symmetry is essential, and Georgia emphasizes this in her makeup tutorial. Her passport makeup look includes raised brows and a fox eye to make her entire face look SNATCHED for the camera. She also played around with creating “OTT” shadow and highlights by contouring her temples and cheekbones to make her face as symmetrical as possible – thus, a lot of cream contour and concealer used.
To top it all off, Georgia added a small winged eyeliner for that fox eye look to elongate her eyes; and beautiful, glossy nude lips. This makeup look is full-proof in having you looking completely camera-ready for your passport photo.

Other creators have also jumped in to recreate this stunning viral look – and let’s just say this makeup trend is PERFECT for everyone.
