If you haven’t seen Mimi Choi’s epic special-effects makeup on Instagram, it’s high time that you click the follow button on her profile. The makeup artist ups the ante with special-effects makeup, and her latest look is definitely sssomething.
Its 3-D effect isn’t based on any kind of template, Choi drew the illustration freehand using two Make Up Forever eyebrow pencils. Before you try this look, be careful of using products for areas of the body for which they’re not intended.
Choi also shared a video of the snake lip art in motion:
Speaking with Allure last month, the makeup artist said “My main goal each time I do a new look is to beat myself from yesterday because I’m the biggest critic and competition to myself. It’s gotten really hard to impress myself these days but it motivates me to keep trying and doing better.”
Choi doesn’t just limit herself to just face-based makeup, she also does spectacular and bizarre illustrations on other body parts.
