News about Lisa’s collaboration with MAC cosmetics, which dropped in October, almost broke the internet. This will be Lisa’s first-ever makeup collaboration with any cosmetics brand, so obviously, it’s huge.
The much-anticipated Lisa x MAC collection is all set to launch worldwide on 12th November and we are itching to get our hands on ’em purple beauty cosmetics.
Here’s all that we know about the collection thus far – but first, let’s hear it from the lady herself about her very first makeup collaboration.
“I’m so excited to reveal to you one of my biggest projects so far as Global Ambassador of M·A·C Cosmetics: my very own full-face makeup collection!”
“I curated the collection myself and designed every piece after things I absolutely love. Every shade, product, name and even the packaging design represents something very special to me.”
Aptly named “MAC x L” collection, the offering is all about the shared values of MAC and Lisa, which includes artistry, creativity, self-expression, and more. The packaging is a unique combination of purple and glitter, giving it a modern yet glamourous feel.
“I chose purple and glitter as the main look to give off a modern and glamorous feel. Of course, my signature on the packaging had to be in one of my favourite colours – yellow! But instead of regular yellow, I went with a special fluoro-yellow to represent neon lights that give a cool, hip-hop and urban vibe to the collection,” says Lisa.
The MAC x L collection includes the iconic Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolor, Brushstroke 24-hour Liner, and more. The hero product of the collection is the MAC x L Eye Shadow Palette, a versatile and vibrant palette that carries a wide range of colours that works for day and night looks effortlessly.
The eye shadow palette is so relatable to Lisa, because each eye shadow colour is named after her favorite things, from her beloved cat to her go-to ice-cream flavours. Some of the names include Leo, Louis, Candy Rapper and Milk Tea Ice Cream. How cool, right?
Adding her touch to MAC’s extensive lip repertoire under the Powderkiss Liquid Lipcolour range are Rhythm N Roses, Swoon For Blooms and Pink Roses.
