Unless you really don’t keep up with the news, you’ll be aware that the romantic comedy Love Actually is getting a sequel, well.. sort of. Instead of being a feature film, the infamous movie will be penned into a short 10 minute clip in honour of the charitable initiative by Comic Relief, known as Red Nose Day 2017.
The sequel is called Red Nose Day Actually, and the short film will debut later this month on TV, with most of the original cast members reprising their roles.
There’s Hugh Grant, who is still Prime Minister and still married to the lovely Martine McCutcheon, Liam Neeson and his much older son played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster, and Rowan Atkinson who is still taking his sweet time at the check out counter.
Which is a little bittersweet, since Mr. Bean famously shared that hilariously frustrating gift-wrapping scene with the late Alan Rickman. Emma Thompson chose not to come back for this short out of respect for Alan Rickman since they couldn’t properly continue their characters’ storyline without his presence.
Supermodel Kate Moss will also star alongside Rowan Atkinson, Marcus Brigstocke, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Keir Charles, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Martine McCutcheon, Lucia Moniz, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy and Olivia Olson.
The short film is set to premiere during Red Nose Day on 24 March.
