From now until November 7, Malaysia’s leading shopping destination, Pavilion KL, will host a ‘Journey of Colors’ exhibition in celebration of Deepavali’s brilliant and colorful kolams. The highlight of this year’s festive decorations is the first-ever 500-meter Kolam Runway, which joins the Couture Pavilion and Connection precincts via the Pavilion Crystal Fountain, providing customers with a colorful and vibrant Deepavali environment. Strut your stuff and view over 100 distinct designs created by Raffles College, INTI International College Subang, and INTI Center of Art and Design students along the Kolam Runway.

Drop by and admire the beauty of the illuminated huge lotus flower kolam that adorns the renowned Crystal Fountain and the Main Entrance. The lotus flower kolam, which represents eternity, purity, heavenly beauty, and good fortune, is intended to bring good fortune to all visitors. A traditional rice kolam, showing a vibrant rangoli design, greets customers at the Bukit Bintang main entrance.
A beautiful sparkly kolam fit for royalty can be found at Intermark Mall. The centerpiece of the mall’s ‘Glorious Diwali’ event is a stunning kolam made of dazzling stones and jewels. On the Ground Floor, the rich bejeweled kolam will be complemented by two Deepavali pop-ups from WA Store Footwear and Carven Ong Couture. Fashionistas can also enter the Intermark Mall’s Glorious Instagram Contest, which runs from now until November 14.

With ‘Lights of Happiness,’ Da Men USJ aspires to highlight the triumph of good over darkness in celebration of life and unity. A colorful peacock kolam, fashioned from arts and crafts supplies and reclaimed items such as paper, bottle caps, and discarded props, are on display at the community mall. The amazing 15ft by 15ft kolam design features a peacock, a symbol of beauty and elegance, and was created by youngsters aged five to twelve years old from Global Art over the course of 200 hours.
Customers who spend RM180 or more on a single receipt (RM280 for Jaya Grocer) will receive a RM10 Food Arcade Voucher from now until November 7.
