Back in May, we were invited to Laneige’s Water Camp that was held in Port Dickson and for two days, we were totally immersed in the pursuit of perfectly moisturised skin. The main purpose of the camp was to introduce three brand new products from the Korean brand, namely the new Water Bank series, Brightening Sparkling Water and Water Drop Tint Series. Along the way, we were treated to a relaxing pampering session at Avillion’s AviSpa where we experienced the products and an amazing stay at Avillion Port Dickson. 11am: Arrive at Avillion Port Dickson 
11.20am: Product Presentation
At the product presentation we learned about the new Water Bank series by Laneige and how this new range unlocks your skin’s ability to revive four dormant genes as well as activates your moiturising genes. Don’t let the science lingo put you off, the texture of this range is light and absorbs easily into skin. The all new Water Bank series has the following products to help you achieve hydrated skin – Water Bank Essence EX, Water Bank Gel Cream EX, Water Bank Moisture Cream EX, Water Bank Eye Gel and Water Bank Double Gel Soothing Mask.
Next, members of the press were introduced to the current Korean beauty trend of sparkling water which Laneige cleverly incorporated into their new Brightening Sparkling Water range. This range unearths the benefits of sparkling water in combating tired and dull skin by stimulating blood circulation and promoting the turnover of dead skin cells. This range consists of the Brightening Sparkling Whipping Cleanser, Brightening Sparkling Water Capsule Mist, Brightening Sparkling Water Pop Essence and Brightening Sparkling Peeling Mask.
1.00pm: Post lunch and Pampering Session at AviSpa
The highlight of this water camp was definitely the pampering session that was held at Avillion’s gorgeous AviSpa where we got to try the amazing new products by Laneige. We started with a thorough oil cleansing followed by the Brightening Sparkling Whipping Cleanser which has a dense foam texture that will eventually turn transparent as you massage it onto your skin. This was followed by what was our first sparkling water treatment which apparently is a beauty ritual that many Korean celebrities swear by.
We were given a bucket that was filled with half flat water and half sparkling water for us to immerse our faces in. Although it felt like breathing lessons at first – because believe me when I say it’s no easy task to hold your breath in sparkling water for 15 seconds without coming up for air – the results were really amazing as you can see how bright and rejuvenated your skin looks afterwards. Prior to this, I had no idea sparkling water had such beneficial properties for one’s skin!
Our pampering session continued with a double mask treatment where we tried Laneige’s Water Bank Double Gel Soothing Mask and the Brightening Sparkling Peeling Mask before moving on to the next Korean beauty trend.
