Summer 2014 is a good month for Disney fans as that’s when Disney’s Maleficent will be released. Starring the statuesque Angeline Jolie, this remake of the Disney classic is sure to change everything you remembered about 1959’s Sleeping Beauty.
And just to intensify the anticipation, Lana Del Rey was reportedly hand-picked by Angelina herself to sing the film’s title track – Once Upon a Dream. The track was debuted in an ad aired during the Grammy broadcast.
The decision to use Del Rey for this cover calls for an intense hair-raising experience. Dark and magical, the song and trailer will surely bring a never-ending wave of goosebumps, so listen with caution.
