From August 17 to 21 2016, the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready-to-Wear 2016 will highlight the creativity and expertise of the blooming Malaysian fashion industry as close to 100 designers will be showcasing their never-bef0re-seen runway collection over five highly anticipated days.
KLFW RTW 2016 works as a platform for these designers to fully immerse their audience into their passion, and as you would expect, the amount of talent will be immeasurable. On top of understanding a designer’s full concept, ideas and vision while demonstrating signature flair, it will enable them to communicate their message for the season.
Partnering with AirAsia and Tourism Malaysia, this year’s KLFW RTW 2016 will be inviting four International Guest Designers from China, Australia, South Korea and India to promote international exposure for the local designers on top of five Indonesian designers and five Singaporean designers who will also be making their appearance.
Music has grown to become an important component that makes up KLFW RTW 2016 and this year the first ever Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week RTW 2016 official anthem will be produced in collaboration with Dangerdisko, titled “Flashing Lights”, a bright disco number with a sexy, expeditious beat.
From the 11th to 31st of May 2016, Avenue K will be kicking off the KLFW RTW 2016 celebrations by elevating shoppers’ experience with a series of pop-up bazaars. KLFW’s pop-up bazaars will also be offered at Urbanika at Publika Shopping Gallery from the 21st to 25th of September 2016.
