Describe your personal style – The way I dress depends on my ever-changing mood and feelings. I can go from super girly to something a little more daring, dark and bold. Even bohemian to something more elegant and sophisticated. I like to play a different character everyday. I never get bored adopting different styles and it’s all about having fun and exploring yourself more. At the end of the day, it also depends on where I am, where my travels take me and the events I go to. On most of my relaxed days, you will see me more in something with a feminine flair for I am simply obsessed with long flowy skirts, maxi dresses, pastel colours, flower power rings and sweet hair accessories. A good variety of different types of statement earrings is also a must-have for me.

Your thoughts on the fashion scene in KL – The Kuala Lumpur fashion scene is very diverse with styles! KL style mixes modern with traditional effortlessly and stylishly. This is very common and only happens in Malaysia. Where else would you see a kebaya top with a pair of Levi’s? This shows that KL is a center of globalisation. However, the younger generation should dress more to express than to impress. They should not get too caught up into what mainstream media portrays as fashionable but dress according to what flaunts their unique individual features.

Your favourite places to shop – Besides purchasing goods at MNG, Zara, Forever 21 and Bershka, I also enjoy the thrill of searching for different looking pieces at bazaars and fashion markets. Finding unique pieces that flaunts your style can be a bit of a challenge but it’s oh so fun! So you have got to keep your eyes open! Bershka has got to be one of easiest and my most go to places because there I can find almost everything I need.
