According to sources, the name was a tribute to Kanye’s late mother, Donda. Well, aren’t you a good son, Kanye. (Source)

Turns out we were totally wrong about Kimye giving their baby a decent name like every normal person. But these eccentric celebs will never fail to surprise us with their odd baby-naming fantasies. So, Kaidence Donda West is totally out of the picture. Scratch that out!
A source close to Kimye confirmed that the baby girl’s name is North West.
NORTH WEST! Without a middle name, and “Nori” for short. “She has black straight hair! Lots of it! Looks like a good mix of both of them [Kanye and Kim] but more like Kim,” says the source. “She’s adorable!”
