Travel and lifestyle photographer Jeff Lombardo recently traveled with Kendrick Lamar to capture the behind-the-scenes moments of Lamar’s busy life, and the results are remarkable.
Lombardo’s photos not only revealed that Kendrick barely has any time off – they also prove that the 28-year old Compton-based rapper is probably the hardest working artist alive!
This particular batch of photos from Lombardo highlight the moments before and after the release of Kendrick’s third studio album, To Pimp A Butterfly, released in March 2015. To Pimp A Butterfly also won a Grammy for Best Rap Album this year.
For Kendrick, it’s all about dedication to his craft. When he’s not in the lab, he’s on stage performing, or he’s at a talk show, or doing interviews and photoshoots, and sometimes taking time out to answer questions and give advice to kids before his performance.
