If you weren’t aware about the whole Twitter fiasco between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj yesterday, let us break it down for you. Minaj, 32, posted a tweet about the MTV Video Music Awards nomination for Video of the Year, which, Swift, 25, was nominated for and Minaj, well – didn’t. The “Bad Blood” singer then responded to Minaj’s tweet, saying that it is unlike her to pit women against each other.
It went back and forth for a while and now, Katy Perry has jumped in on the drama and expressed her opinion on the matter through Twitter.
Perry, 30, who was said to be the inspiration behind Swift’s latest hit “Bad Blood” suggested that it was ironic that Swift criticised Minaj for starting a feud between two women, when Swift herself seemed to be fanning such flames.
