Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) announced the beginning of an extensive and exclusive collaboration between none other than Katy Perry, one of today’s music industry’s biggest superstars, and The Sims™. Now, we all know that The Sims™ has been around for as long as we can remember.
Even we are guilty of having been addicts!
And today, it is still one of the most popular gaming series of all time.
In collaboration with the iconic Katy Perry, the world-renowned The Sims Studio is all set to develop multiple games within The Sims™ franchise featuring the beautiful Katy Perry themed in-game content and virtual goods. The relationship kicks off with a special Collector’s Edition for The Sims™ 3 Showtime.
And the game? It’s slated to launch in March 2012 with Katy in the limelight of the all-new advertising and marketing campaigns for the brand.
When asked, Katy Perry said, “I love how you’re able to play out different stories through your Sims characters – giving them different careers and watching them succeed. It’s cool to see the Sims’ stage performances in The Sims 3 Showtime decked out just like my California Dreams Tour – even my cotton candy video screens are in there!
