The latest buzz in the entertainment world seems to revolve around the budding romance between Katy Perry and John Mayer, and rumours are starting to buzz around the possibility of the couple walking down the aisle in the future.
A source close to the couple says that Katy and her charming boyfriend are getting “very serious”. Even friends and family wouldn’t be surprised if John were to pop the question soon.
“Everyone wants them to get engaged,” the insider explained. “They are so perfect together.”
Sources claim that John has also been spotted ring-shopping for the Roar singer, so perhaps it’s only a matter of time that Katy Perry will be welcoming hubby #2 shortly!
In an interview with W Magazine, the busty pop star opened up about her relationship with John. “I actually am dating my crush,” the 28-year-old gushed. “I had a crush on him for a long time.”
Katy confessed that she’s been a fan of John for years before she actually got to kiss him. She added, “I’ve been such a fan, I think he’s so incredibly talented and gifted and a genius songwriter. So to be a part of anything he was doing was just natural.”
Katy and John first shocked the world when they officially announced their romance last year. The couple briefly split in the beginning of the relationship, but seem to have been by each other’s sides ever since.
Lets hope the two lovebirds’ romance prevails and the marriage doesn’t end up like her first one with British funny man, Russell Brand.
