Jonathan Allen Yabut has successfully earned his title as the first ever ‘Apprentice Asia’!
Born in Manila, Jonathan is a former management trainee of Globe Taelecom and most recently, the senior product manager at GlaxoSmithKlein Philipines. Jonathan bested 11 contenders, including his top challenger and fellow finalist, Andrea Goh, a litigation lawyer from Singapore.
It was no doubt that the announcement of the winner was by far one of the most thrilling thing we’ve experienced on reality television in a while, but Jonathan proved to be an excellent apprentice by impressing host, and AirAsia group CEO Tony Fernandes with his interpersonal and leadership skills.
After Jonathan and Andrea had their chance to convince Tony Fernandes of their respective merits, the show concluded with Jonathan getting Tony’s approval and received the trademark Apprentice move, the “You’re hired” handshake! [Source]
