Put your running skills to the test by taking part in the All Women’s Action Society (AWAM) together with Asiasons and BE Group for the White Ribbon Campaign Run and Walk on Sunday, 8 December 2013.
Open to Malaysians and expats, the White Ribbon Campaign Run calls for men and boys to stand up and end violence against women and girls, but women are also encouraged to join and fight for their sisters.
All are welcome to show their support by joining the 7km run for individuals as young as 12 years old, while the 3km walk is open to families with children. Men are encouraged to be seen walking with their children in strollers. Participants below the age of 18 are required to obtain parental consent to participate.
To register, you can do it online via www.themarathonshop.com.my, or walk-in the AWAM office in PJ from 10am-4pm from Monday to Saturday. Participants above age 12 are required to registration fess of RM38. 100% of the proceeds will go to AWAM.
Closing date for registration is on 24th November at 5pm.
