It’s all about the joy of giving in Johnnie Walker’s latest short film: The Gentleman’s Wager II starring Oscar-nominated actors Jude Law and Giancarlo Giannini together with Chinese superstar Zhao Wei.
The leading luxury Blended Scotch Whisky brand, Johnnie Walker Blue Label launched their second instalment of its Gentleman’s Wager series at a recent local debut of Johnnie Walker’s Joy Will Take You Further campaign, which is the brand’s biggest campaign ever.
The cast of the short film includes award-winning Jude Law, Giancarlo Giannini and the acclaimed Chinese actress Zhao Wei. The second instalment is directed by Jake Scott of Ridley Scott Associates. He also directed the first film.
The short film instalment tells a story of a man that proves how a little gratitude can really take you a long way. In the film, audience will get to see two men who make a bet and the winning prize is the priceless and stunning vintage car, Delahaye 135S classic. The racing car is not just the prize for the wager but also a Walker heirloom. It’s been owned by the family since the late 1930s.
