In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, John Legend opens up about life with wife Chrissy Teigen and their fertility struggles. And trust us when we say it’s going to make you go awww.
Not too long ago, Chrissy mentioned that she was going to cut back on drinking. When asked about if he had a hand in making that decision, John had this to say; “I just want to support her. I want her to be happy and to live the fullest, most awesome life she can, and I want us to do it together.”
“Whenever she sets her mind to anything, I always tell her, “I want to support you and help you do it.”” said John.
If his wanting to support Chrissy to live a full life isn’t enough to make you swoon, John also talked about their issues when they were thinking of conceiving – which we feel is important and comforting for everyone who’s been or are going through what John and Chrissy went through;
“I think it’s especially difficult when you can’t conceive naturally. You want to feel like everything’s working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it’s not.”
When asked if they’re planning on having more children via IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), it seems like the couple would definitely go through the procedure again – “We’re lucky that we’re living in an age where we can conceive in other ways,”
“[IVF] brought us Luna and hopefully it will bring us a few more awesome kids, too.”
