After years and years of making YouTube videos, the boys of JinnyboyTV on YouTube, Jin Lim and Reuben Kang, are now on to greater heights with the debut of their first ever feature film By My Side.
Premiering on Malaysia Day this year (September 16) at TGV Cinemas nationwide, By My Side features Ola Bola‘s Marianne Tan as the lead actress, alongside 8TV Quickie alum Brandon Ho as her love interest.
Amongst the other cast include Arwind Kumar, Josephine Yap, Adam Shamil, Nadiah Nash and Maggy Wang. Though the actual storyline hasn’t been disclosed, we’re guessing it’s a love story revolving high school sweethearts.
The cast and crew spent 18 days shooting By My Side off the coast of Terengganu at Redang island, and have even released a trailer.
