While some of us were tearing apart gift wrappers with close family members and friends at home, Jennifer Lawrence left hers to visit Kosair Children’s Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
Despite what Joan Rivers thinks of her, The Hunger Games star brightened the children’s day when she dropped by on December 22nd. No one in the hospital expected her presence and she was spotted with a very casual plaid shirt and jeans at the hospital.
Photos that were taken that day showed that she had spread the holiday cheer to ill kids in the hospital. In one of the shots, she was spotted holding hands with a young boy in a U.S. army-themed hospital room.
The 23-year-old star also posed with a child who was smiling from ear-to-ear.
Besides the kids, she also posed for a picture with the hospital staff.
On December 23rd, Kosair Children’s Hospital tweeted, directing it to one of J-Law’s fan pages on Twitter, thanking her for the unexpected visit.
