On the 3rd of December, E! will be giving fans a look into the life of famed Korean superstar Jay Park. Originally named Park Jaebeom, the multi-faceted artist has bagged plenty of awards, and more notably, he was crowned the ‘Musician of the Year’ at this year’s Korean Music Awards.

On the E! Special, fans would be delivered a never-seen-before take and also a glimpse into the life of Jay Park, who is also known as the ‘Fresh Prince of Seoul’, going from hero to zero.

Journey with Park as he reminisces about his humble beginnings growing up in Seattle, moving to Korea to fulfill his dreams of being a big pop star, and his rise and fall from the 2009 scandal of him being ousted from leading popular Korean boy band, 2PM.

E! also speaks to some of the most prominent people in the entertainment industry to get an inside scoop of Park’s comeback, which stemmed from a YouTube video he uploaded in 2009, covering Bruno Mars’ then hit song, “Nothin’ On You”. The video was an instant hit and garnered more than 2 million views within only 24 hours.

Tune in to catch how he returned to conquer the Korean music industry by storm as an even bigger and better solo artist, and starting up his own independent label – AOMG, a spin off from his old B-boy crew name Art of Movement (AOM).

E! asked performers across Asia that dance, sing, beatbox or rap to try for a spot at being the opening act for the ‘Fresh Prince of Seoul’, and the acts that have been selected to showcase their talent are Karmal from Malaysia, Sammie from Singapore, Trick from Singapore and Yvonne from Malaysia.
