Despite being an integral part of the Harry Potter series, we reckon not many people out there would aspire to look like the heroic house elf Dobby.
However, this Japanese porn star has been compared to the iconic character after undergoing an extensive range of plastic surgery procedures which left her with an elf-like appearance.
Rina Nanase, who has appeared in some raunchy movies under her stage name Rumi Kanda, has spent several months keeping her Twitter followers informed of her procedures, which consisted of nips and tucks to her nose, eyes and chin.
But her finished look has led some to suggest that she’s gone way too far – with some comparing her to Dobby while others questioning her welfare.
“She looked great before, the person before the surgery was very nice,” commented one person, while another added, “Does she have an eating disorder?”
Unsurprisingly, Rina promptly defends herself, suggesting that her critics were “jealous” of her new look.
And while people generally agreed that she looked better before the surgery, she obviously disagrees – having previously taken to the social networking site to rant about her weight and what she referred to as her “beady eyes”.
