Alas, the 2017 SEA Games has come to an end.
Though our 1-0 loss to Thailand in the men’s football event was devastating, Team Malaysia successfully achieved their goal of amassing at least 111 gold medals, by completely knocking it out of the park with a whopping 145 gold medals.
With a total tally of 323 medals beating every other participating country in the 29th Southeast Asian Games, 92 amongst those are silver, whereas the other 86 are bronze, aside from the 145 gold medals.
And for the closing ceremony happening tonight for #KL2017, the biggest Malaysian stars are coming out to celebrate by serving their best performances that would echo our beloved athletes’ success.
Amongst those stars are Jaclyn Victor and Vince Chong who will be singing a duet, Dato’ Sheila Majid, Ella, Faizal Tahir, Dayang Nurfaizah, David Arumugam, Zainal Abidin, Joe Flizzow, Amy Search and more.
The closing ceremony, which will be held at 9.30pm today at the National Stadium, KL Sports City in Bukit Jalil, will be emceed by Yasmin Yusoff and Raymond Goh.
