This spring, H&M flaunts some major bohemian attitude with relaxed shirts and dresses worn with casual denim, making the looks perfect for the city streets. The campaign features supermodel Daria Werbowy launched in stores on March 26th 2015 with music sung by our very own beloved Malaysian singer Yuna, who recorded a cover of the song “Strawberry Letter 23”.
“Spring is my favourite time of the year! My style has always been a mix of bohemian chic and H&M will always have pretty printed pieces, long flowy cardigans or lightweight chambrays and I love them. To be able to work H&M is of course, a lot of fun. I love fashion so I’m really happy to be a part of something that has a huge role in the fashion and retail industry. H&M is always giving something stylish and also affordable to all fashion lovers and I believe in that so it’s great!” Yuna said about her experience with working alongside the brand on their Spring campaign.
This season, shirts are essential and can be work with sleeves rolled and paired with high-waist flared jeans. Due to the easy air and fluidity of silk, pyjamas are playing a major role in this season’s look. Printed pyjama sets are worn together, or styled separately for a versatile look.
Be clever with layering, with shirts worn over dresses like a spring jacket, and flowing dresses worn over soft pants. It’s all about the pieces that can be mixed and matched to wear as the mood takes you, like the denim jacket that’s like an old favourite, the floating sun top with a handkerchief hem, or the shorts with a vibrant floral print.
Suede loafers add to the informal mood, while long belts are both functional and decorative. High-heeled sandals quickly take the look from day to night.
