It’s difficult to find fresh delicious popcorn that doesn’t taste either too stale or overly flavoured. Pre-packed popcorn always seem to lack that oomph you get from fresh popcorn.
Introducing Planet Popcorn for those of you who like your popcorn bigger, rounder, and healthier!
Originating from Taiwan, their popcorn is uniquely shaped in a round ball form just slightly larger than a 10 cent coin. It claims to be a healthier choice as its high in fiber with no preservatives or trans fat.
The popcorn is vacuum-packed to maintain freshness, flavour and crispiness. The best part is that you can sample the popcorn first before choosing the flavours you like. We sampled their caramel and cheese popcorn, and were sold!
Planet Popcorn offers two sizes, one in pack form and another in bucket. Their pack forms are resealable and the price ranges from RM7.90 to RM10.90. The bucket popcorn ranges from RM12.90 to RM18.90.
Among the flavours available are Original, Caramel, Seaweed, Curry, Cheese, Chocolate, Wasabi and Coffee. Their star product is the Original flavour while the Cheese and Chocolate flavored ones are highly recommended.
“Planet Popcorn” is available at Sunway Pyramid (F1.100D 1st Floor) and Times Square (LG-18-03A) right next to Chatime, ironically.
