You may recognize him as Mr Henry Middleton from Astro’s Oh My English! Zain Saidin is a handsom, 27 year old British Malaysian actor who hopes to be as cool as his idols, Tom Cruise and Michael Jackson. Now, a hottie that cooks on Diva Universal’s Hot Guys Who Cook, the actor is giving us a chance to be mesmerized by his cooking skills and charm.
Q.What got you excited to participate in the second season of Hot Guys Who Cook?
What intrigued me the most about joining the second of Hot Guys Who Cook was that it was much bigger than the first one. My mother and sister also encouraged me to join and when I got it, I was kinda honored to be one of these hot guys who could cook.
Q.Are you the kind of guy who likes to cook all the time or just on special occasions?
I’m the kind of guy who likes to cook on special events. Because when I’m cooking for the event, you know its something special to celebrate.
Q.What is your speciality or signature dish?
I made a dish that I really enjoyed doing on the show, and it’s just a simple spaghetti dish that wasn’t too fancy or complicated, but it was really tasty. So I guess I would have to make something that’s simple, tasty and but truly enjoyable.
Q.How would you describe your signature cooking skills?
Definitely tasty yet simple for now. But if I were to open a restaurant, I would most likely create more complex dishes, but as for now it’s simple and delicious.
Q.How would you rate your cooking skills from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest.
I would say I’m probably a 7.
Q.Would your ideal mate be skilled in the kitchen?
I think anyone would want their partner to be able to cook something appetizing, so if I had a partner, I would definitely want a partner who could cook really well.
Q.What kind of food or cuisine do you find to be the sexiest?
The sexiest food would definitely be fine dining, because it not only looks great, but it tastes divine. You don’t really need a whole table full of food, but you want something that looks good and appetizing, and that’s what I’d call sexy.
