Instagram just unveiled Layout, a new app for photo collages that’s fun, simple and is a new way to flex creativity.
Upon opening Layout, a few previews of custom layouts can be seen as you choose photos from the camera roll. To make it more convenient, the app also features a Faces option that displays all the photos in the camera roll that contains people.
Users can drag and drop to rearrange the photos, pinch to zoom or pull the sides of the photos to adjust the size and get the layout perfect to their liking. Users may also flip and rotate photos to create cool arrangements and mirror effects.
A Photo Booth is also available to capture spontaneous moments. Tap it to start a countdown and capture photos that will instantly be added into a layout.
Layout is currently only available for iOS devices. The app will be made available for Android devices in the coming months.
