Since its triumphant debut in December 2020, HYdeout has established itself as Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s first family-friendly-themed eating and fun learning experience venue. Following the conclusion of HYdeout’s most recent theme, ‘Dinotopia,’ the hotel announced on April 9 the launch of an all-new ‘Kampung in the City’ theme – based on Malaysia’s most popular, award-winning cartoon franchise, Upin & Ipin!
The Malaysian animated franchise Upin & Ipin is extremely popular among children. Even grown-ups enjoy watching it. The innocent mischievousness of the two twin siblings, who were nurtured by Opah and their adored sister, Kak Ros, steals hearts. Not to mention the latent lessons in each series’ story, and the twins’ charming life with their friends and other villagers.

The titular characters’ amazing success in portraying serial adventures that resonate with the majority of Malaysians is a testament to the heights to which an indigenous name may soar. Haji Burhanuddin Md Radzi, the Founder, Managing Director, and Producer of Les’ Copaque Production, said that collaborating with Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur for HYdeout’s new theme is a privilege, since they are able to bring aspects of Upin & Ipin beyond the screen. Les’ Copaque Production aspires for others to nurture traditional entertainment as a way to cherish their roots and relive childhood nostalgia amidst these modern times.
HYdeout’s all-new ‘Kampung In The City‘ concept embraces the essence of Upin and Ipin and all that the themed sanctuary has to offer – from a delectable all-you-can-eat buffet to stimulating activities such as messy play, traditional games, ‘wau‘ painting, reading area, carnival booths, 3D walls, movie screening, and more.
