Smelly shoes are pretty much unavoidable, especially in the Malaysian heat and humidity. Letting the shoes air is fine, but it gets horrid when the shoes leave an unpleasant smell lingering in your shoe cabinet. Here’s a quick and easy fix to keep your shoes smelling clean!
All you need to do is pop two to three unused tea bags into each shoe and let it sit for 24 hours in a cool, dry area. Tea bags are very absorbent, so they dry out the dampness in the shoes, and replace it with a fresh scent from the tea leaves. Say bye to foul-smelling shoes!
