French luxury brand Hermès adopts a fun and flirty colour this season by selecting lipstick pink for its 2013 watch straps. The timeless Hermès Arceau case was designed in 1978 by Henri d’Origny and is known for its horseshoe-shaped attachment and slanting numerals inspired by the equestrian world.
The Hermès Arceau Lipstick comes in two steel models (28mm and 32mm) with a matt white dial. The 32mm version houses a self-winding movement driving a central seconds hand and a date display. The signature Hermès saddle stichting completes the Arceau’s Lipstick pink calfskin strap on both models. All leather straps come from La Montre Hermès, where a workshop is responsible for selecting leather hides and crafting them to straps to reflect the expertise of this French brand.
