In the most logical sense, if you see a giant cat, you bolt out whichever door and start running for your life. But not when the giant cat is as cute as a button! Particularly if the giant cat is a lovable Sanrio character who has taken “Black Swan” for a spin.
In celebration of ELLE Taiwan’s 20th anniversary, Hello Kitty is gracing the cover of the magazine looking all chic and adorable in fancy couture. We’re pretty sure this is not her first magazine feature. Furthermore, just because she’s Hello Kitty, she’s cute-ifying everyone to death with not one but two costume ensembles!
The first one has our most beloved feline in a bright pink feathered frock and her signature hairbow embellished with rhinestones. Bless the ELLE magazine stylists for topping that look off with matching satin boots with gem encrusted soles and a chunky bejeweled bangle. Bling!
The second one features Hello Kitty in classic chic (think a toss between Jackie O and Alexa Chung) in a black and white polka dotted sleeveless dress with a ribbon waist band in Kitty’s signature pink. The ensemble comes complete with, of course, her signature hairbow in pink, a string of pearls that screams luxury, ruffled ankle socks and black flats.
