Keo Woolford, who starred in one the most prominent TV series aired on television Hawaii Five-O died on Monday at the age of 49. He died while being treated for a stroke in a hospital in Oahu, Hawaii.
As the news of his death came out, many actors and other celebrities took to social media to express their grief.
Daniel Dae Kim, who was one of Keo’s co-stars in the TV series Hawaii Five-O wrote on Twitter: “As talented as you were, I will remember you most for your kindness. Thank you for sharing your light with us, @KeoWoolford. Rest In Peace.”
Commonly known as detective James Chang from the series Hawaii-Five-O, Woolford was not only an actor but a film maker as well. In 2013 he wrote, produced and directed the independent movie The Haumana which went on to receive the special jury prize at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival for best first feature.
At the time of his death, he was in the process of finalising the second instalment of his superbly successful film The Haumana 2. RIP Keo Woolford..
