Congratulations to Super Junior on the celebration of their eighth anniversary!
This famous South Korean boy band was formed in the year 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man of S.M. Entertainment. After their single ‘Sorry, Sorry’, Super Junior gained international recognition, and it just went uphill from there. Apart from getting countless of awards (to name a few: Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards and MTV Asia Awards), Super Junior also has a strong global fan base as proven at midnight when “#Happy8thAnniversarySuperJunior” startied trending worldwide on Twitter.
Fellow member Siwon updated his Weibo on the 5th November saying, “Look forward to tomorrow. There will be eighth anniversary,” along with a picture of him, Eunhyuk and Donghae.
Another member of Super Junior, Yesung tweeted to his fans saying, “Eight years since our debut.. ELF ! While I am alone at the moment, thank you for always allowing me to feel your sincere love all the time ^^ Even in the future, I will sing sincerely.. Thank you so much, truly, for staying by my side.. When I feel frustrated, lonely, or am having a hard time, I think of ELF and regain my strength ^^ Let’s spend 2015 together–you guys and the other member–for sure..^^”
