Just when you thought PSY couldn’t be even cooler, he takes an evil jab with a lot of glee from Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong.
Armstrong called the South Korean popstar “the herpes of music” on Instagram. He posted a picture of PSY alongside the caption: “This dude is the herpes of music. Once you think it’s gone, it comes back. #herpes #flareup #pleasegoaway
Amstrong’s got a neck for using Instagram to pass comments on other musicians instead of sharing pictures of his bandmates or personal adventures. And with what he’s just posted, he clearly does not like PSY.
So how did the South Korean star respond? In an interview with Fuse, he asked “What is herpes? Is it like a disease?”
Psy was then supplied with the grisly details, and then shrugged off the negative comment with:
“I kind of like it, it’s cool. I should something to him. He’s saying I’m like herpes, [I] keep coming back.. I think it’s really cool, and I appreciate that. Thank you.”
Armstrong’s yet to respond, but this really a thumbs up on PSY’s part. Clearly this is one of the most hilarious celebrity feuds ever to date, and quit possibly the shortest.
