For a young American brand that just kickstarted in 2014, Glossier has come a long way, even making its mark as everyone’s new favourite mega-cult beauty brand.
On top of its commendable ethos that “celebrates real girls, in real life” and the great ingredients incorporated into its products, Glossier’s distinct yet minimalist aesthetic has surely left many beauty junkies eager to try out the products.
Well, we come bearing good news! Glossier has just announced that it would slowly be crossing borders, which means that it would be shipping internationally. Yeap, it’s been a long time coming.
“Shipping internationally requires a lot of moving parts, and we want to make sure we get all of those parts right before we jump in feet first,” the brand has mentioned.
The site also notes, ““As a cruelty-free brand, we won’t be able to ship anywhere that requires product testing on animals. That’s just part of our philosophy.” And we’re all for that.. *cough cough Nars*
Although the international shipping outside of the U.S. will first begin in Canada, then the U.K., and France in 2018, it’s a one step closer for us here in Malaysia as more countries will be added to the list over time.
Alternatively, Glossier may just be stocked on Cult Beauty following its international expansion to the U.K., and when that happens, you can then get the products shipped here for free with purchase of £40 and above.
