Luxury shoe maker Giuseppe Zanotti has been honoured as Footwear News’ 2014 Designer of the Year.
Mr. Zanotti was presented with the award by close friend and longtime supporter, Linda Fargo, who is Bergdorf Goodman’s style authority.
He has received the Designer of the Year award for four times, previously winning in 2000, 2007 and 2009. This year’s award is particularly special as 2014 is the 20th anniversary of the Italian designer’s label. The Footwear News Achievement Awards have been recognising talents and excellence for almost 30 years and the publication has been regarded as an authority in fashion.
