Here’s a Christmas gift that’s sure to charm the socks off any fashion/Gigi Hadid-loving girl – the all-new Tommy x Gigi Barbie doll.
In February, the Barbie Style’s Instagram account posted a series of photos of Barbie at the Tommy x Gigi SS17 runway show and meeting up with Gigi in Venice Beach, California. The post got so popular that the people at Mattel decided that they should just give the people what they truly want and made a Gigi Barbie available for purchase!
Designed in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, the TommyXGigi Barbie celebrates that time when Gigi Hadid was introduced as global brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger womenswear. The doll is styled in a classic navy Tommy Hilfiger flag hoodie, white shorts with red trim and brand logo, and white slip-on sneakers, matching Gigi’s closing look for the Fall 2016 TOMMYNOW experiential event.
As for Gigi, she was over the moon about finally having her own Barbie.
The TommyxGigi Barbie has a suggested retail price of $50 (about RM210) and comes with a doll stand and certificate of authenticity and is available online and at selected Tommy Hilfiger flagship stores in London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, and New York City, and with select retailers globally.
