Below are simple steps on how you can have that beautiful set of nails which you always dreamt of having.
Start of by moisturizing your hand using your preferred type of hand lotion. Then clean your nails using a pointed nail filer. The Markwins nail pencil comes in that unique shape to serve this purpose.
Secondly, use a cuticle pusher and push the skin around your nail to the back and shape it. A plastic cuticle pusher is the best as it would not damage your nails. A metal or a wooden one may scratch your nail. Once that is done, remove the excess skin from your cuticles using a cuticle remover.
Then use the nail buffer and shape your nails accordingly. Most of us would choose to go with the square shape if we are doing a French manicure but if you would like to try something new like a squoval (square + oval) shape then why not!
The base coat and the top coat in the Markwins manicure set looks the same. However the base coat is easier to dry and is less clear compared to the top coat. Apply the base coat first as it will prevent your nails from turning yellow and functions as a moisturizer for your nail.
Once that is dry, apply the top coat. The top coat takes a longer time to dry and it will give your nail that perfect shine which you wish to have.
Give your fingers about 20 minutes to completely dry and move you can start using the Markwins Professional Self Adhesive nail stencils.
Place the stencils a little away from the tip of your nails. The tip which is exposed which will be the part where you will be painting using the French white coat. Ensure that this part is not too thick or not too thin. These stencils come in an oval shape but if you would like to have a square shape, then you can use a tape instead.
Run the tip of your nail with Markwins French White coat or if you would like it to be pink, then use the French pink coat which is available from the set. Once it is dry, use the whitener pencil and run it over the tip of your nails which you have painted to give it that classy bright look.
