Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) recently ended its month-long Oktoberfest celebration with a massive Oktoberfest party at Beer Factory at Sunway Giza, Petaling Jaya. With a variety of German games, international cuisine and and GAB’s award-winning beers, the GAB Oktoberfest celebration saw over 1,000 revelers congregating at the Beer Factory, Sunway Giza for a truly memorable evening.
Guests enthusiastically took part in a variety of traditional German activities like Masskrugstemmen (beer stein holding contest), Hammerschlagen (nail hammering contest), pretzel toss and so much more. Throughout the evening, an entertaining live band and mesmerizing folk dancers entertained party-goers to amplify the festive atmosphere.
The guests were also able to get a limited edition 1 litre Oktoberfest ceramic mug with metal lid filled with their favourite GAB brews, be it Tiger, Guinness, Heineken, Kilkenny, Strongbow, Paulaner or the special edition Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier.
This party represented the final event for the series of iconic Oktoberfest parties that GAB organized across the country. These 14 themed parties showcased different aspects of the Oktoberfest celebration, from the royal wedding between Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese in Munich back in 1810 that was the basis of the first Oktoberfest celebration, to the celebration of traditional German cuisine (also known as ‘Schmankerl’), the iconic Oktoberfest parade and the festive Oktoberfest carnival.
