Italian-based and long-time established accessory company, FURLA, has just launched their Autumn-Winter 2013/14 collection based on the entity – Black to the Future. The entire collection is all about celebrating the colour black as well as the winter season, making it nostalgic, contemporary and extremely captivating.
The materials, shapes and colours across the entire collection is inspired by the active world of winter sports and the beauty of nature teased by the layering of different materials such as glossy with matte and soft with hard. In addition to that, the collection is reinvented through innovative constructions such as the panels stitched onto the backgrounds of brushed leather or ultra-shiny patent leather.
For this season’s Animal Print range, FURLA combines the use of soft furs, natural materials as well as neutral and subtle colours which are inspired by the mystery of the Siberian Tiger that reigns supreme amongst the snowy forests and towering rocks.
Meanwhile, the brand new range of bags also feature the use of bold and sports-inspired colours such as electric blue, fuchsia, bougainvillea and mauve along with contrasting materials like soft matte-effect leather combined with extra glossy black leather.
Also new for winter this year is the exciting comeback of FURLA’s CANDY, a potent mix of fun, glamour and innovation featuring transparent rubber in bright colours with an ombre effect.
