Regardless of where you’re heading and what you’re doing, it’s always a good thing to smell like a winner. For that reason, we’re sharing with you the right ways to wear your expensive perfume, and how to preserve the scents on your skin for longer.

Spritz on clothes instead of on the chest – Most fragrances contain alcohol, and when this comes in contact with the skin, the scent usually changes as it reacts with your body temperature. If you’re facing this issue, spritz the fragrance on your clothes instead.

Dab body oil on your pulse points – Your pulse points are essentially where your blood vessels are. With fragranced body oil, it’s ideal to dab the product on your pulse points so that the scent will radiate throughout the day as it reacts with your body heat.

Bonus tip: This may sound odd, but the back of your knees is a killer place to apply scents. The scent gets released upwards, giving off a delightful whiff of fragrance as you walk pass people.

Apply right after a shower – After a good shower, your pores expand and your body turns warm. When you spritz on fragrance at that very moment, the scent will get activated and will last for a lot longer.

Use a low-alcohol hair fragrance – Want your hair to smell good too? Never ever spritz on the fragrance directly. Instead, spritz it into the air and allow the particles to lightly fall onto your mane. We’d suggest going for an eau de toilette (EDT) or a low-alcohol fragrance that’s meant for the hair.
